Deleting Product Sets
Hi
I have added the external wordpress images plugin and datafeedr product sets. I have moved one of my categories into the bin 5pm yesterday and left it there but the products still exist am I do something wrong?
Thanks
Christine Gibbons
1) Do you have Product Sets set to update? Product Sets -> Configuration -> Updates Enabled
2) Do you have deletes enabled? Product Sets -> Configuration -> Delete Missing Products
3) Do you have a real cron job or just WP cron?
Hi Dave
Answers to above
- Yes
- Yes
- I set up a real cron job last week for every 30 mins but the umbrella product set I put into bin last week is still sat there and products still exist.
Also I have a performance warning You have 3739 options set to autoload. This is too many and will be slowing down your site significantly. Contact us through our Q & A section for assistance in fixing this and we’ll deploy a fix specific to your situation.
I have also asked another question in the Q&A regarding image optimisation
Thanks for your help
I am also having the same problem with trashed product set products not being deleted. It could be number 3, the cron job issue (#1 and #2 were already set correctly), but I wanted to share this PHP warning in case it is relevant:
PHP message: PHP Warning: array_values() expects parameter 1 to be array, string given in /home/yourvirtualwedding/www/products/wp-content/plugins/wpi-performance-plugin/wpi-performance-plugin.php on line 2188, referer: http://www.myonlineweddinghelp.com/products/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=trash&post_type=product
Hmm, I’m unsure if these loading times are normal. I will turn Dave’s attention to this and get back to you as soon as possible with an answer. The PHP warning itself should not really be affecting the performance as far as I know, however. I’ll get back to you with more information soon.
My product sets are being deleted OK and everything seems to be working. The plug in still throws the PHP warning, I”ve noticed it also when the products list loads in the admin area. Not sure if that effects performance or not, but that page generally takes about 4-5 seconds to load. Here is more info in case it is helpful:
PHP Warning: array_values() expects parameter 1 to be array, string given in /home/yourvirtualwedding/www/products/wp-content/plugins/wpi-performance-plugin/wpi-performance-plugin.php on line 2188

Greetings Bobette, has your issue been resolved? Let me know if I can help you in some way.
That said, I may have jumped the gun. When I went back to my site I noticed items in the deleted product set are now beginning to show up in my products trash.
