With ‘Select Default Post Type’ you decide which post type gets searched if the user skips the ajax panel and hits ENTER.

Search Other Post Types through the Ajax Panel & See All

If you enable other post types in the ajax panel, you can also enable the See All button which allows users to search for more of that type of item.
